Preferred Hiring Vendor Approach

TTX seeks relationships with one or two firms or independent professionals in each area where we recruit people for careers in Chicago. We provide those relationships a ‘first look’ option to recruit for external candidate searches. The preferred hiring vendor in turn provides preferred placement pricing for TTX, and a high level of personalized service to TTX and our job applicants.

Within the IT professional area, TTX has established a formal Preferred Vendor Program which is coordinated by the IT Vendor Management department and Human Resources. This program covers the coordination of all IT contractor and full-time employee transactions. This Program is reviewed every six months.

Quality of hire, quality of service and cost-efficiency are the key factors used by TTX in evaluating ongoing hiring vendor relationships.

How to Become a Preferred Hiring Vendor

If you are interested in becoming a TTX Preferred Hiring Vendor, please see below to register with our Human Resources Department.  Your company will be added to our Hiring Vendor Database used to identify potential vendors who may be invited to participate in TTX's sourcing/bid selection process. Please do not call individual hiring managers at TTX or hiring staff in the Human Resources Department.

Registration as a Potential Preferred Vendor

  1. Email any brochures or marketing material to Humanresources@ttx.com with the subject title – “Request to Register as a Preferred Hiring Vendor."
  2. Be sure the email includes the following:
    • Company Name
    • Company Address
    • Contact information (Name, Title, Phone Number, Email Address)
    • Company Website Address
    • Brief description of your top capabilities and strengths as a hiring resource (e.g., full-time staff placement with focus in particular area of technical expertise, providing project-based staffing, conducting sourcing research, finding candidates with diverse backgrounds, etc)
    • Names of any candidates previously hired by TTX through your firm
  3. Human Resources will enter your information and promotional material in our vendor database.
  4. From time-to-time as a sourcing event opens that your firm could potentially fit, or where TTX is seeking to establish additional relationships, Human Resources will give consideration to those firms who are registered in the TTX database.
