TTX has an established Wreck Hotline which is manned 24 hours a day 7 days a week to ensure that railroad officials have immediate responses when railcars are involved in derailments and possibly blocking mainlines. This service provides the  railroads with the ability  to make sound  financial decisions;  as well as moving as expediently as possible to resume rail traffic  with the least amount of inconvenience to surrounding communities.

If a decision is made to repair the equipment it will be moved to a TTX authorized repair facility. TTX uses only the most qualified and experienced facilities.  Each authorized repair facility is evaluated yearly by our Supplier Evaluation Program. TTX believes its primary goal is to provide our customers with the best equipment at the best price, at the right time. TTX  prides itself on our Excellent Supplier designation given to the best of the best. This award is given to only those suppliers/repair facilities who receive a rating of at least 90.0 and an alpha designation of (A) in all categories.
