Our Engineering, Railcar Design, Research and Railcar Testing departments work to ensure the best performance from all of our railcars. From the first steps of the engineering process, through to railcar building and railcar modifying, our workforce connects with railroads, suppliers and others to create cars that are efficient, innovative and right for the job.
Through field trials and railcar testing equipment, our research and testing departments consistently monitor the fleet for performance. If our markets demand railcar modifying or adjustments to our cars, or if upgrades become available, we’re able to execute changes to entire cars or their components.
