The Law & Administrative Services Department provides legal advice and assistance to all departments at TTX Company with respect to employment issues, contract negotiations, intellectual property matters like patents and trademarks, environmental issues and antitrust compliance. Company lawyers are also responsible for all litigation involving TTX.
In addition, the department practices preventive law by educating employees about compliance with various legal or regulatory requirements. The Senior Vice President, as Chief Compliance Officer, interprets and facilitates enforcement of the TTX Code of Conduct, a set of rules governing the ethical conduct of TTX’s business practices.
Finally, the Law Department supports the Political Action Committee (PAC) which is committed to protecting and improving TTX and the rail industry nationwide by building and strengthening relationships with those Members of Congress who have an impact on our industry.
